Surajya A Movement Marathi Movie Review



Surajya A Movement, a social drama movie is directed by 'Me Shivajiraje Bhosale Boltoy' fame director Santosh Manjrekar and produced by Umesh Rao. The Marathi movie stars Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Mrunal Thakur, Sharad Ponkshe, Madhav Abhyankar, Dr. Shriram Patki, Vinayak Bhave, Nandkumar Patil, Shahaji Kale, Pournima Manohar, Reenna Liman, Ravindra Sangvai.

Well known for story, dialogue writer and screenplay Saurabh Bhave has penned the story of this flick. The Cinematography is done by Vikram Amladi and background music is scored Manoj Machedmkar.

The plot of high budget movie revolves around the subject of practicality over blind faith. Duo Omkar represents young generation of novices and unaware of how uneducated fall prey to superstitions, fall in love with Dr. Swapna. When an accident victim is under the pain, duo decided to take him to the hospital.

This incident gave Omkar a realization that society needs more hospital than temples, and mutts are so rich that they can easily contribute to hospital hardship. Manohar, a powerful leader of mutt denies to pay a single penny for hospital, even after trying a lot.

According to movie review, Surajya A Movement showcased the existing problem of the society in prevailing in India. The engaging script is appealing and dropped a powerful message to the society. Also, drama, action, romance and suspense.

Surajya created a big bang at the box-office after its release. Unique theme based movie able to hook the interest of the audience until the last frame. Despite, a big gap, director proved his directing debut that has broken his earlier records through this film.
