Actor Performance
In “Bhoothnath Returns”, Amitabh Bachchan has once again delivered a splendid performance. His performance in the movie has his trademark grace and effortless class with which he wins over the audience. His young partner Partho who is 60 years younger than him, is a revelation. His performance has boundless energy and swagger of a Hollywood star.

Boman Irani is also at his best in the role of a ruthless, sly and cunning politician. His wit and dialogue delivery is very good as he thoroughly entertains the audiences. Sanjay Mishar who is Bhoothnath's lawyer also draws a good amount of laughter with his comic timing.

Positive Ponts
The greatest strength of the
“Bhoothnath Returns” movie is the chemistry between Akhrot and Bhoothnath which definitely leaves a smile on your face. The first half which shows the growing special bond between them plays out at a perfect pace and smoothly moves forward with good narration. The director has paid special attention to the characters which makes the movie interesting. And, unlike it's predecessor, “Bhoothnath Returns” has a decent plot.

Negative Points
The over emphasis on the voting in the second half makes “Bhoothnath Returns” dull and wearisome. The length of 160 minutes is also too long to keep the audiences interested. And, some of the sequences cross the border which separates acceptable yet silly plot elements from the sheer illogical ones.

Verdict
“Bhoothnath Returns” is a entertaining movie with some strong individual performances. Though, the movie has some illogical elements which are hard to digest, but then which Bollywood movie is complete without them.
