Naan Sigappu Manithan Tamil movie review

Naan Sigappu Manithan is action thriller directed by Thiru who will be working for the third time with main lead actor Vishal. Vishal is also co-producing this venture along with production house UTV Motion Pictures.

Along with Vishal, Lakshmi Menon and Iniya are cast is pivotal roles. Saranya Ponvannan, Jayaprakash, Sunder Ramu and Jagan are other notable actors in the movie. G. V. Prakash Kumar has composed the music of the film. Now, let's take a look at the story and the movie review.

Naan Sigappu Manithan is based on the rare medical condition called Nacrolepsy from which the protagonist suffers. For those uninitiated. Nacrolepsy is a neurological disorder that causes drowsiness and excessive daytime sleepiness in the patient. The patient, despite getting adequate night-time sleep, are liable to falling asleep during the day, usually at inappropriate times and places.

To add to his woes, he falls in trouble with the goons as he crusades for the righteousness and justice. So, how he overcomes his own crippling problem and wins the battle against the bad guys is the plot of the movie.

Vishal, undoubtedly is the star of the movie as he expertly projects the problems and emotions his Nacrolepsy stricken character suffers. He is especially good in the action sequences where he tries a unique way to overcome his problem. Lakshmi Menon is also very good in the movie and easily overshadows Iniya. Director Thiru who after has also written the script of the movie, has done a commendable job by making movie on such a unique condition.
