Bollywood celebs who voted and those who didn't




This year's Lok Sabha elections is monumental in terms of the impact it will have and in terms of the magnitude of the political battle being engaged by the political parties. And the Bollywood along with the entire nation has been buzzing over the past weeks with the election fever.

On 24th April, the sixth phase of the elections was held in Mumbai with other regions of the country. In this article we will look at some well known names who fulfilled their electoral obligation to the country and reasons behind the failure of some to do the same.
Celebs who voted

Aamir Khan who was reportedly in Istanbul with wife Kiran, flew down to Mumbai a day earlier to cast his vote. By 8 am, accompanied by his wife he was at Bandra Booth.
Preity Zinta who was in Abu Dhabi because of the ongoing IPL tournament flew in to cast her vote at St. Ann's School in Bandra. She is expected to return to Abu Dhabi to cheer her team.
Juhi Chawla followed Preity's decision and took a break from the IPL to cast her vote.
Farhan Akhtar cast his vote early in the morning before heading to Florida for IIFA awards where he will be hosting the event.
Jaya Bachchan accompanied the whole Bachchan family to cast her vote. She flew in from UP where she was participating in the political campaigning.

Busy with shooting – 
Anushka Sharma is shooting for NH10 in Jodhpur while Salman was in Poland shooting for Kick.
Not eligible, not allowed – Alia Bhatt who holds a British passport and Ktrina Kaif who is India on work visa were ineligible. So, were Imaran Khan, US citizen and Jacqueline Fernandez, Sri Lankan. Tiger Shroff was sent back because his name wasn't there on the voter list.
