Race Gurram, an action-romantic movie is directed by talented, and Kick and Thidi fame director Surender Reddy and also, he firstly team up with Allu Arjun. The Tollywood flick is jointly produced by Nallamalapu Srinivas and Dr. Venkateswara Rao under the banner of Lakshmi Narasimha production. The movie features Stylish Star Allu Arjun from the Mega Family and Shruti Hassan in the leading roles, while Saloni Aswani and Shaam are cast in supporting roles. Plot
Race Gurram is based on the conflict between two brothers Ram (Kick Shyam) and Lucky (Allu Arjun), as both do the things in a different way. One Allu Arjun plays the role of a cop who believes in following the rules and regulations while Shaam does not that brought rivalry between them and story moves on. Allu's love interest is Shruti Hassan in the movie and the popular comedian Brahmanandam plays a police officer role.
Cast performance
In this family drama movie, Allu Arjun by his energetic and a splendid performance proved his acting debut. His comic timing, expressions, emotions, tremendous intensity and dexterity in the role of the protagonist is the main highlight of the flick. Despite, glamorous Shruti Hassan has very limited role in the movie, but she still manages to steal the show. Hilarious performance of Brahmanandam brought belly laugh. Other members of the star cast are well-rounded and have done full justice with their job.
Positive points
Well-written script's dialogues are impressive and hilarious, and cast performance is watch of the movie. The entertaining movie's songs are outstanding and applauded by the audience. The magic of Brahmanandam brought the laughter after regular intervals and awesome climax able to hook the audience until the last frame. Movie reviews of Race Gurram are very good due to the presence of all elements of a complete entertainer film and that made the movie to create a big buzz at the box-office. Somewhere down the line, it appears as if Race Gurram movie able to won the race in the series of action and comedy.
Negative points
First half is good and engaging, but second half appears a bit clumsy and difficult to understand where the flick is heading. Outdated fights, less appealing and ordinary script are some of the leak points, as per the movie review.
Verdict
All in all, Race Gurram finds excellent performance of lead actors, good narration and perfect comic timing. The complete entertainer action masala movie is worth to watch and 'Pasia vasool'.
