Tenaliraman Tamil Movie review

Tenaliraman which was previously titled Jagajala Pujabala Thenaliraman is directed by Yuvaraj who made his debut with romantic comedy Potta Potti in 2011. The movie will see accomplished comedian and actor Vadivelu returning from his two years hiatus from the movies. He has been cast in dual roles in the movie.

While Meenakshi Dixit is cast opposite him, Manobala, Radha Ravi, G. M. Kumar and Bala Singh are cast in supporting roles. Ramnath Shetty is tasked with the cinematography and D. Imman has composed music of the movie. Now, let's analyse how well Vedivalu has fared in our movie review.

Tenaliraman is a historical comedy movie based on the exploits of popular historical figure Tenaliraman Movie. The movie has taken inspiration from the countless moral stories featuring the clever and willy courtier. The movie portrays the life lived by the people back in B.C 15th century. To make the movie interesting for the present generation, director has projected the events and trials which people face these days against the ancient background.

Young director Yuvaraj has done a smart thing in building his movie around Vadivelu's tremendous acting talent. And the veteran actor hasn't disappointed his director with a great acting performance. Vadivelu carries the movie forward with his great comic timing and perfect expressions.

The supporting cast has also done a decent job. Another aspect which works in favour of the movie is the attention paid to details, the backdrop of the 15 century BC is meticulously planned and developed, giving the movie a realistic touch.

The movie is a must watch for Vadivelu fans and if you aren't one then you will definitely become one after watching this movie.

Sandhira movie review rating– 3.5/5
